Following the recommendations in this handbook does not guarantee that the project complies with Scenic Area Regulations. Your review agency will look at the specific facts of your development proposal and of your project site. You may be asked to modify your proposed project to ensure that it meets regulations.

The electronic version of the color chart and copies of the color chart produced by color copiers and printers distort the colors that are found in the original color chart. For an accurate copy of the color chart or the entire Handbook, please contact the Columbia River Gorge Commission or your local county planning department.
