Urban Area Boundary Revisions

At its July 14, 2009 meeting, the Commission tabled indefinitely work related to new rules for urban area boundary revisions.

The Gorge Commission discussed urban area boundaries at three work sessions:  December 11, 2007; June 10, 2008; and May 12, 2009. A video of the first portion of the June 10, 2008 work session is available to view at the Gorge Commission office.  This part of the work session included comments from invited guests who were involved in discussions on the establishment of urban areas when the National Scenic Area Act was passed.
